about us

City Life Church, Cambridge

Planted 12 years ago with only 3 people, City Life Church now has a congregation of around 150 with more involved in small groups. We are passionate about Jesus, believing that following him requires a radical, unreligious and charismatic lifestyle.

Our vision is to build a solid base in Cambridge where people can be saved, discipled, and released into the best expression of who God created them to be. We want to build a church that is made of real people not religious structures, and where everyone is equipped to invade all layers of society with the good news of Jesus.

Our main focuses are students, the city of Cambridge, and Europe. With over half of our company studying, we aim to reconcile the city with its universities to see revival in both. Residents and students are equally engaged in being the church: living out the values of the kingdom of God in their own settings. We are increasingly involved with serving the community in the north of the city, and getting on with being who God called us to be in our workplaces

City Life Church is part of the Plumbline family of churches, a registered charity (no. 1069846), members of the Evangelical Alliance, and part of the Cambridge Christian Ministries Network (CMN).

We also partner nationally with Fusion and 24-7 Prayer.
