Prayer Life

Prayer is communication with a real God. It is our response to Him, and his excuse to answer us. It is the currency of the kingdom of heaven. It is at the heart of our relationship with God.

Prayer is a central value in City Life Church. We pray at every level, from the daily connection each individual member finds with God, to whole weeks of city-wide praying. The best prayer cannot be organised: it comes naturally out of our passion to communicate with God. That's why most of the content about prayer on this site is found integrated in other areas.

24-7 prayer

The ongoing global prayer meeting that is 24-7 prayer has been an inspiration and a tool to us for years. We have run 24-7 weeks for CLC, for the whole of Cambridge, and also for specific clusters of cell groups such as student cells in any one college. Every time, God has shown up.
