The student tribe is the committed student members of City Life Church, Cambridge. It isn't about being exclusive and doing student only church - CLC students belong to Fusion cells (which are made up of students from most of the main student churches in Cambridge), and also meet with the wider body of City Life Church, as well as being involved in various ways with the other tribes within CLC. However, the student tribe also has its own leadership team, runs its own events and socials, and meets separately from the other tribes a couple of times a term. This means that there is the opportunity to do student focused-church, to address issues that are specific to life at university, and also provides a smaller context than CLC's corporate events which gives us the space to try new things, to express church in different ways and to allow new people to get involved.
