Fusion Taster cells
This 3-pack is a short sequence of cell notes for taster cells. Taster cells are temporary groups designed to give new students with little or no experience of cell a taste of what they are about.
The cell meetings should be organised and done by an existing cell leader as close to normal cell as possible, so that the meeting experience, as well as the content, models to new people what cell is like. To keep the quality consistent, only give out the 4 Ws to people who would do them well in this context, if at all. The notes are also a great way to refresh established cells on the central values and purpose of cell groups.
When running Taster cells as part of the Fusion launch programme every October, try to have a meal with all your guests prior to each meeting. It can be simple and short, but helps everyone to relax, get to know each other, and start to build community together. |
