In Summer 2006, a team planted church in Luton, seeking to repeatedly reach and disciple 18-30 year olds in the town.

It is estimated that less than 1% of 18-30 year olds in Luton are involved in any kind of church activity.  Compare this to a national average over all age groups of 7.5%.  This presents the church with a great challenge but also an unparalleled opportunity.  We believe that church planting must be one of the solutions we need to put into operation, in reaching this emerging unchurched generation.   City Life Church Luton is seeking to fully play its role in the local church of Luton; wanting to complement the existing missional activity of local churches in Luton.  To find out more about the vision and church, check our website or contact Gavin Shuker:  gavin@loveluton.org
