CLC Meeting Recording

Working closely with the PA team, you'll be making the CLC podcast and downloadable sermon recordings possible!

It's relatively simple, and very easy:

1) Get the "Audio Recordings Laptop" from its laptop case, plug it in and turn it on.

2) In the laptop case, find the right cable that connects the laptop "microphone"

jack into an output channel of the PA system.

3) Login to the laptop and start Audacity, the program which records the audio.

4) Check everything is connected correctly by doing a test record. Don't be intimidated by the Audacity program, mostly you just need the round red "Record" button:

5) You can stop (square orange button) but before starting the real recording, quickly check the battery laptop's strength because you'll need to unplug the power chord and run the laptop on battery to avoid an annoying feedback buzz messing up the audio quality.

6) Save the Recording, perhaps copying it to a USB drive so that it can be fine-tuned and uploaded to the CLC website.
