City Life Summer
This summer, get involved with City Life Church's impact teams. You could find yourself reclining on an Iberian peninsular, praying for God's kingdom to be established in Luton, blessing a whole region of Cambridge, or sharpening your life's vision.

Kings Hedges Summer Blast

The Summer Blast is an event hosted by the church as a gift to the community that live on the Kings Hedges estate in Cambridge. The aim is to have fun, encourage friendships and relationships and to demonstrate the good news of a living and loving God through putting on 'no strings attached' events that simply bless those living there.

Summer School of Leadership

We learn most of our leadership on the go, picking up the skills and character we need as we grow in responsibility and serving others. However, the summer is an ideal time to focus in on what God is saying to his leaders. The Summer School of Leadership will equip you with the foundational attributes needed to go further. The school will be residential, based close to Cambridge, with plenty of free time to network with other young leaders.

The darkest continent on earth is calling. Can you hear it? This summer we are taking a prayer team on a wild adventure through the God starved countries of Europe, armed with nothing but passion, prayer and an inter-rail pass. The 2004 Summer European Prayer trip will focus in on praying for the universities of Europe, reaching out to God to see revival in the student sphere. There’ll be residential training, opportunities to link in with other prayer organisations and new friendships formed as the team traverses the continent, hungry to be part of connecting with God’s purposes in Europe.

Luton is about to become a significant outpost for CLC, as a team seeks to plant church there within the next couple of years. If you’ve got an inkling that God is calling you to new expressions of church then join us as we seek to practically serve this vision of church planting. There’ll be prayer alongside getting out and about engaging with the unreached generation… Be expectant for God to use you to change Luton, but prepared for him to change you to become the answer to your own prayers.
