Technically, it's really just fun and challenging and interesting and satisfying.  But there's the same frustrating politics that you get in any reasonably large company. Computers are simple ... it's people that bring the real challenges!

What difference does it make being a Christian?

Cool, Kevin. This reminds me of my experience of working life (I've been updating my CV recently). I really miss working with a whole team of people! The workplace is an amazing place to show people God's love because usually people watch you and see what you do under pressure and so on. It's great if your co-workers have an extensive sense of humour (like mine did) so that the repetitive boredom is somewhat reduced and you can have a rrrright laff.
