Yo-yo's. Great Biscuits.
Hi all
Trust you are all having a good week! Apparently this week biscuits at the musicians meeting (yo-yo's) on Sunday were the best yet... its hard to tell...I'd appreciate your feedback- get it- feed... back. Sorry. Thanks to Natalie we had a good time of worship and prayer and it was another chance to get to know each other better.
For those of you who weren't able to be with us, we have a busy time coming up with tribe meetings and the church weekend away and of course there will are a host of songs on the song bank that still need refining!
But its not all work and I have enjoyed seeing you guys having a good time out there. Daniels clan had a great time on Sunday morning. You were all leading visually as well as musically. I said to Daniel , I think he could have walked out and all of you would have been able to lead it you were so engaged. This is great stuff!
We talked at the meeting about a sense of accountability that seems to be coming in our worship. There is a call to a greater setting apart, to aligning our lifestyle with our beliefs in all areas. There is a call for consistency and faithfulness, not a yo- yo approach to God where sometimes we are up and sometimes we are down. But instead speaking to our minds and believing what God says about us. Ephesians 4 says ' we should not be tossed around with every wind..but instead should be growing up in all things into Him who is the Head , Christ. ..Be renewed in the spirit of your mind, that you put on the new man which was created according to God in true righteousness and holiness. ' My prayer for you this week, Muso's , is that this will become real for you. That God would be your anchor. That a yo-yo would just be a biscuit, not a reflection of the state of our being.
