What are our meetings like?

Passionate, friendly, creative, unreligious, interactive, relevant and life-changing...

That's what we would like our meetings to be! We want visitors to be welcomed warmly, and  our passionate love for Jesus to be expressed in what we do. We don't do the same boring thing every week, or put on a performance or show, but have an interactive time together where everybody can contribute. Above all, we meet to be with God together, so that we can praise Him and He can change us.

What do we do?

We start by catching up over a hot drink. Once we gather together, we often express our praise to God through singing and music, and sometimes in other ways. Usually there is a teaching or encouragement slot as well. The teaching is not always one preacher: Sometimes we break down into different seminars relevant to different groups within the church, or have several people sharing.

On top of this we might have interactive elements such as prayer, discussion, and active responses, which visitors are free to join in with or just watch. We also have an offering each week (for church members) and catch up on church events. Children join in with the musical praise before going out to their own groups.

Real church is a community, not a building, or a business organisation. It's a family of people who love Jesus and each other, and those around them. The natural thing for this community to do is all gather together to celebrate God, encourage one another, and learn better how to be all that God wants us to be.
