Yuletide newsletter
Well all a very happy December to you. CIAO TO THE STUDENTS again as they head off for some TLC from the home front and snuggle in the rest of you to warm fires and mulled wine!
I am so very very PLEASED with the musical praise that has been going on in the last term, not least by seeing a lot of you at the late night worship sesh run by Daniel last week. Oh the joys of not having to get up in the morning that makes student life great.
Coming up in the LENT TERM we have an exciting list of stuff on- not least our mega CHURCH CAMP as I like to call it- thats when we all go away together and really get to know each other. In NZ this happens under canvas on a beach but you Brits sure know how to do things in style! I guess there will be no 'beans on the billy' at this weekend! Can I encourage as many of you as poss to get along to that as it is a truly significant weekend in the life of the church .
There have been a number of additions and changes to our Musicians page on the WEBSITE since we last met. I update it every week so do log on occasionally. All the CHORD CHARTS for the current song list are there for you to print off when you are playing. The song list gets updated by the Lead Musicians once a term and we always welcome your opinions on good stuff ( or bad stuff) There is a list of all our people with their CONTACT DETAILS and we have our own CHAT area as well which I invite you all to use to share your views.
The church wide theme for the coming term is ' Living in the light of Eternity'. To serve the church effectively during this time we are looking for songs and musical ideas which touch on this, so if you know any goodies throw them at me. Some of our current favs for HOLIDAY LISTENING or Santa request list) ...
