Nothing short of a miracle

There are times when a simple prayer or a song or a rainbow or a scripture can help in a situation and disarm the angriest anger and soften the hardest hardness and make stupidity wise.

And then there are the impossible situations. The ones where none of the dynamics give options. The ones where 'no hope' is declared. The ones where even a Sting chord progression and a Simon and Garfunkel lyric wont solve anything.

These are the situations where nothing short of a miracle will rest a situation.
I had one such incidence this week in the life of a friend. She doesn't  know Jesus yet but you can bet your sus4 sharp 11 He knows her. I' ve made sure of that.

My prayer was that Jesus would stick His nose in where it wasn't welcome. That He would invade the unwelcome territory. That He would make a way where there is no way.

And slowly I have noticed some very small things. The language in relaying the situation is changing. We have gone from ' I am going mad' , ' I will never forgive' , ' this is my end'

to

' I feel really sad about all this' , ' maybe one day I could forgive' , ' today is hard but Ok'

and I think to myself what a wonderful world. I mean, what a terrible world we live in  but what a wonderful ' world' we are a part of. The world of Jesus Christ our Saviour and Friend.
The one who makes all things new, who makes crooked paths straight, who heals without shame and regret, who makes a way where there is no way.

This is the world you belong to fellow musician

Could someone write a song about that please
