Daniel Praises God
Daniel is almost 7, he's a member of the Cade household, student at Mayfield Primary School, member of the GodChasers group in CLC, and brother to Simon and Ian.
God makes His way into our conversation, often at the dinner table. Sometimes it's the kids who brings Him up, sometimes it's the parents. Daniel (and Simon) are learning to read and write at school at the moment, and check out what Daniel proudly read out to us on Sunday after the CLC meeting:

God is good.
He is better than Spiderman.
He is the Ruler of all Rulers and the King of all Kings.
He is better than every god in the world.
You know that He is in Heaven but He will come back down one day.
The God says, "if you ask who I am I will answer you,
'I am who I am' ".

God is known all over the world.
He loves you even if you don't love Him!
If you don't have a home he can give you a home!
He can save you if your home gets blown up!
He is all around you.
He can see you if you can't see Him.
If you are dead he brings you to heaven and you can see Him.

Of the things he quotes, I think I know where he got at least of of them from.
It's the bit about if you ask God who He is He'll say,
"I am who I am"
Gabriel read that from the Bible on Sunday. Simon was having a strop at the time, and I was fighting to not loose my temper, and would have guessed that Daniel was in another world drawing superheroes or something on the floor.
Oh well, who knows what God is doing? It's exciting and encouraging tho!
Anyway, why not follow Daniel's instruction and post a reply which says 'wot you (k)now about God'? |

I know that God exists and that He answers prayer. He provides for me, He cares about injustice and is very powerful (although I don't really know how much he provides and cares and does). I know these things either because I've experienced them beyond reasonable doubt, or because I'm convinced through and through that they're true.
Next I want to KNOW that God is love. Like Gabriel says, we need to know God as He really is, because God isn't only the little bits we know today. There's so much more to know! Danny, this is awesome!
