You're warmly invited to a picnic and games afternoon at Grantchester Meadows on Sunday afternoon.

Some of the Huntingdonshire Community Church crew will be joining us as well, which will be great!

When- 26th June, 2pm
Where- Granchester Meadows
What- Picnic (bring your own), out door games and messing around with boats on the river

Meeting Point
We will meet in the field behind the Orchard Team Rooms down by the river.






Travelling by car…there is some parking on the road near St Andrews and St Marys church on the bend, alongside the Orchard Team Rooms (as pictured below). There's also overflow parking in a framers field just past the orchard towards the Trumpington end of the village. The farmer does charge for this, I believe it's £2 into an honesty box. To reach the meadows follow the public footpath between the white posts down to the meadow gates (pictured above).



Travelling by bike… there is a cycle path from Newnham along the river to Granchester. We would recommend cycling where practical as parking is limited. Or be creative, maybe even punt down?

Practical Points
Please bring your own picnic for you or your family and picnic blankets or chairs also bring hats, sun cream etc (in faith for great weather).
