CLC 'Wombles' the Arbury Carnival

This last Saturday a team of CLCers set their early morning alarms, rolled up thier sleeves and went behind the scenes to help make the 33rd Arbury Carnival a year to remember.

Loving our community, it was great to be able to come again without strings attached to serve Kings Hedges. Thanks to Phil, Kate and Matt Lee for staking out the site in the early hours, and to Katharine Rachel, Christina, Liz, Cat, Ola for making the day happen from stewarding the procession to litter picking the site, to washing up dishes! Then the mighty Cades coming down for the final packdown.

We were reminded how much we are a part of this community and how it's great to make a difference in undercover wombling ways and catching up with old friends from the Summer Blast in years gone by.

We are definitely coming back to serve next year.
