An invitation to 40 days of prayer.

1 John, Pancakes, Prayer, Cells and Sunday's.

At this time I am inviting us all, as a whole community, to a simple and organic season of Prayer over Lent.

Why I'm inviting you is because I'm dreaming of a time that releases life, draws us to Christ and draws us closer together in a mission of creative prayer and living. And I am just imaging this could be right up your street too!

What I'm seeing is a woven rhythm to our daily lives of ‘walking with Christ’ and simply praying for the transformation of our city. Jesus changing our world one life at a time.

What's unique about this from my normal life? well, in three ways we are encouraging a focus in:

1) A Prayer Guide: This Sunday a 40 day prayer guide is being launched in booklet and electronic form to aid our praying over the weeks till Easter. Thanks to Neil Prem and Cathy B-S for putting this together for us. I think you will love it.

2) Collective Prayer: 4 times of prayer over the 40 days.

3) Organic Prayer: Have fun and experiment! Organising our own ways and times to pray. Creative, Space, early morning prayer, prophetic, work-place, prayer walking specific places, litergical, late-night sessions, cell-based, fasting, feasting. If you are opening it up to others, simply post on this site your offers and invitations.

As a team we are getting really excited about what it could cause.
