It's great to be back!
Hi! It’s great to be back!
The family and I returned from Europe on Sunday night, and I’m now back in play after my sabbatical, and am pleased to report that these couple of days have gone OK!
It has been an amazing 3 months, but can't wait to see you all again.
Thank you for the ways you have made this time possible. We really have been grateful for all who gave financially, prayed for us and have given voluntarily of your time to release us from our roles back here in Cambridge. THANK YOU!
What have we been up to?
We’ve just finished a 3,800 mile road trip through Poland, Slovakia and Italy which was a real experience and great family time.
Previous months were spent with a variety of reading, writing, photography, prayer, being, drawing and travelling – even time on the allotment!
A couple of highlights were spending a week at St Thom's (a church very similar to ours in Sheffield but on a much larger scale), where we were out on the streets praying and prophesying with members of the public and looking at missional ‘tribe’ based church – very inspiring! At the end of June I had three life-changing days up in Scotland with Jim McNeish on the Personae course. In between Ania and I had some days in the New Forest. Mid July we did a ‘life audit’ with Simon and Julia Matthews that proved significant as we opened up our lives.

So a full time that will unpack in the coming months!
Whilst I’m trying to catch up with as many as I can this week, I'm really looking forward to this coming Sunday back at Parkside, 3pm, when we’ll be able to worship and share in the scriptures together again. I’m keen to hear what’s being going on with yourselves too here in Cambridge whilst sharing some of my stories, photos and highlights of this summer. In for a great afternoon.
