Patchwork Kids
Some of these beautiful kidiwinkles in Uganda have had to leave school because they can’t afford the fees or even the uniforms, books or meals.
We all know how important education is for the future of individuals, communities and societies, so…
From £12 a month you could give them another year in education!
I know all these children and have set up this sponsorship scheme with my friend Martin, who they live with in school time. He is an amazing guy who has even made it into a CLC sermon!
“I have desired to have children with me because of what I went through. I lost my girlfriend because her parents wanted a man with money and a good education, which I did not have. So I did not want this to happen to them. I grew up a frustrated boy because my parents were not able to pay my fees but God in his wonderful grace delivered me from this bitterness and I am determined to bring up a change in our family”. - Martin Nagoli

If you are interested email me and I’ll send you the details.

| | Chris Moffat | 17/04/2003 00:41 | '...so i did want this to happen to them' - i don't think he quite meant that (unless he's more sadistic than i thought) ! martin's english is legendary.
really encourage you to go for it if you can. i remember one day in uganda when about 30 kids came out of the local primary school we occasionally taught at, and when we asked why, we were told that they couldn't pay the £10 school fees for that year so couldn't have an education. a different world, which may seem far off (& there may be a million different causes to support), but man are those kids precious, & a bit of education does make a difference.
i'm pretty certain i'm going out there this summer so will report back how they're doing first hand. & can vouch for martin being a real humble man of God (and hilarious!)
