On Sunday Tim challenged us to put out some asks to those around us. Below are some of those requests.
Wouldn't it be awesome if as a community we could meet everyone's request this week?
I would love to talk/meet with someone who works with children with special needs. I'm going for an interview as a speech & language therapist and would like to get a bigger picture of how my job fits in.
Christina Ruddock
Does anyone have or know of a good book or notes on Human Resource Management?
Jonny Mullin
I would love some advice from a knowledgeable gardener.
Ania Anderson
I would love some help choosing which sort of real nappies to buy for our baby.
Cathy Brunton-Spall
I would love some help with advanced statistics. I'm having trouble writing some algorithms and could do with advice from someone with strong stats knowledge.
Claude Beazley
I would love to meet up with people for dinner/coffee/lunch to take a break from all the work. I would also love help tidying my room, especially filing my work and post and I can find my stuff again!
Jenny Auton
I would love some help taking heavy concrete posts to the tip.
Jonathon Scott
I would love some help with getting my bike to Cambridge Cycles (Mill Road) from Addenbrookes and back again so I can cycle it back home.
Sarah Carey
Can you help?

| | Emma Lockton | 15/04/2008, 20:15 | | Lyn Briant is a nappy expert!!! Find her in Daily Bread or give her a call as she doesn't check the website ... (She really is, she did a training session for me on nappies once!!)
| | | Tim Anderson | 15/04/2008, 23:33 | | And Becky Parker is also an expert not only from Daily Bread training but experiance too, now she is a mum!
| | | Cat Rees | 16/04/2008, 08:10 | | For Christina - I know someone at work who would be good to chat to if that helps.
| | | hannah whitehall | 16/04/2008, 22:35 | | Hey Ania, My friend jessie is a great gardener, she has qualifications in it etc I'm sure she'd be happy to come round and see how she can help [i think you met her once when she came to cell at your house-the one who lost her keys]!....she's coming to gabriel and marys soon for a consultation! so maybe we can arrange for her to come after that? Hannah
| | | Tim Anderson | 17/04/2008, 23:08 | | Thank you Hannah so much for this offer. We would love your friend to come over to give us advice on some of the plants we are meant to be caring for. Let us know what time. love Ania
| | | Adam Guthrie | 18/04/2008, 08:35 | | Dr Beazley, How advanced is advanced?! Stats was never my strong point but am more than happy to take a look...
| | | Margaret Wilson | 19/04/2008, 20:52 | | Gardening is my passion (outside of jesus of course!). If I can help I'd be glad to. I also had three babies when 'real' nappies were in use if that's any help; but I bow to expert training. Sarah, I may be able to get your bike in my boot but it's a saooln car, no hatchback. How big is the bike?
| | | Jonathan Scott | 23/04/2008, 19:52 | | Thanks Matt, those 'cannons' came in really handy. I'll lend you mine anytime if you need them! Jonathan.
| | | Josh Dalby | 24/04/2008, 11:24 | | i also have some stats knowledge from random vibration stuff.
| | | Jonny Mullin | 12/05/2008, 18:48 | | I've just finished my HR module so I don't need any more help thanks :)
