Summer Blast 2008: 27th July - 4th August

Yep, we're at it again; planning to blast Kings Hedges and Arbury with another action packed week of loving, serving, giving, laughing, playing, praying and blatant blessing.

You may have noticed that the dates are a bit later this year.  This is because Hope 2008 is sweeping the nation with Hope Revolution being the theme of the summer. Under this banner, students and young people are being encouraged to bring hope to their cities, towns and villages across Britain.  Several events and projects are being planned across Cambridge for the first week of the summer holidays and Summer Blast is going to be one of these Hope events.

The Summer Blast will still have the same vision and values but with the added dimension of being one of many sites across Cambridge inpacting our city over the course of a week. We'll also be able to make the most of it being the holidays, with increased opportunities to spend time with the young people and their families.

If you are a student, we're asking you to set aside these dates and come back to Cambridge for the Summer Blast week. We can't do this without you and we love all that you contribute. If you're a resident here, we'd love you to consider taking some time out at the beginning of the holidays to serve the vision and the community of Kings Hedges and Arbury. We couldn't do it without your contribution either! We are really excited about this year and we'd love you to be part of it.

It will be the best week of your summer, so be there!
